    Overview: The 3rd day of training focusing on the major OSHA standards and hazards of industries. Each employer is responsible for assuring compliance with these standards.

    Course Length: 8hrs | CFR References: 29 CFR 1910.38, Employee Emergency Plans and Fire Prevention Plans; 29 CFR 1910.157 (g). OSHA regulations 29CFR 1910.157 (g)(1) and 20 CFR 1910.157 (g)(2); MMS 30 CFR 250.300(a)(b)(c) Marine Debris; OSHA 29 CFR 1910.900 ergonomics; OSHA 39 CFR 1910.95 HEARING CONSERVATION; CFR49 Part 382 & 199; CFR 1910.134 RESPIRATORY PROTECTION;OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1000; API RP 49; 29 CFR 1910.251 - 252

    Course Objectives: Upon completion of this training, the student will be familiar with:
    • Definitions, General Industry standards, U.S. Coast Guard and MMS standards
    • General explanation of the purpose for the regulations
    • Basic hands-on and familiarity with these subjects
    Written Exam: Written and hands-on competency will be evaluated at the end of each course. Incorrectly answered questions will be reviewed with student to ensure understanding before completion of course.

    Retraining: Student is responsible for retraining every year.
